I have been on holiday for 12 days and didnt realise the next round was soo soon. Round 2 was an excellent day with perfect weather and the Burger van seemed to go down well. Thank you all for turning up/helping/observing at HutHill, the results are up on the results page along with the entry form for Bransgore. Bransgore is one of the better venues with a wide variation on terrain and everchanging challenges. I am afraid this update is to pass on bad news, we have sadly lost a regular observer, friend and great asset to the club. Jack Pinckney passed away following a motorbike accident last week. On behalf of the club I send our best wishes to Jack's friends and family, he will be sorely missed. Welcome to new comers, and all you veterans NO slacking. I hope everybody has had a good Christmas period and enjoyed the snowfall. As many people know this may be the last year for the HBTC unless there is anyone that wishes to take on the organisation of the club. The results for 2009 are HERE and round 1 entry form is HERE. These are also available on the Results page. Congrats to those that have recieved podium finishes. Thanks to everyone, including mums and dads, for their support and good wishes over the past few weeks. An extra thankyou to Ashley Maughan for donating the money he raised by doing a sponsored silence to our chosen charity the British Heart Foundation. This helped to bring the total money raised from our Play Day at Bransgore to £230.00. Again a big thankyou to all of you for your support during 2009. Results for Nutcombe Row are now up, along with the entry form for Round 6 at a NEW venue near Corfe. Round 5 had very few entrants so for the future if there are less than 20 riders the event will be cancelled. It is down to the riders to find out if a competition is cancelled by phoning terry. As the numbers are so few it is jeopardising the continuation of the club so make an effort if you can to attend all events and bring your friends. Apologies for the site not being up to date recently. Even though Ellis Pits results are up and the entry form for nutcombe row is also available. Results are in, entry form for round 3 is also available.It will be good to have a change of venue, hope to see you all there. It was good to see some new faces and some sunshine at Hut Hill, Next venue is a new location, Tisted. The venue will be signed from the A32 just north of The Lawns Pub towards Alton. Round 1 at Bransgore results are now on the results page along with the entry form for Round 2 at Hut Hill in Eastleigh. Dont forget to renew your ACU licences before the season starts again next year, forms are available from terry or the acu website if u have not been automatically sent one. Final date for entry is 1st October. After a successful playday at the venue is should be a good event. -----> Downs Quarry Round 6 Cancelled <----- There will be a Play day at Harrowood Farm, Bransgore on the 14th of September.
